Excelling the women’s in the field of Reproductive Health, a world of discovery (The Women of Science Award)

From the earliest times women made significant contributions to the science. In several early civilizations women's participation in the field of medicine occurred. In the eighteenth century, while gender roles were largely defined, women experienced great advances in science. In one country, a scientific or technological field may be deemed' unwomanly' or may be enjoyed in a given period; many women may enjoy participation in a different historical time or in another country. An example is engineering which is considered the exclusive domain of men in many countries.

Women advocating for women are so important in all fields, but particularly those still dominated by males. Women academics, especially once well established, have a responsibility to address stereotypes to not only ensure gender equality but also to enhance the employability and career progression of our female researchers.

Women advocating for women are so important in all fields, but particularly those still dominated by males. Women academics, especially once well established, have a responsibility to address stereotypes to not only ensure gender equality but also to enhance the employability and career progression of our female researchers.

It also shows the extent to which these women work in the public, private or academic sectors, as well as their fields of research. But to truly reduce the gender gap, we must go beyond the hard numbers and identify the qualitative factors that deter women from pursuing careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). Numerous studies have found that women publish less in STEM fields, are paid less for their work and are not advancing in their professions as far as men do.

Our 2nd International Conference on Women’s Health, Reproduction and Fertility which is going to be held during March 16-17, 2020 in Dubai, UAE lose no time in recognizing and promoting women scientists’ achievements in the field of Reproductive Healthcare and research. This excellence awards is organized with the intention to help empower more women scientists to achieve scientific excellence and participate equally in solving the great challenges facing humanity. The Women of Science Award grants these eminent women researchers who are helping to change the world through their discoveries, and are also role models for younger generations of women researchers who want to pursue their scientific careers and break the glass ceiling.
